Bro. J., your thoughts have been transmitted so well in this lovely memorial. She was a beautiful lady; from her pictures, she seems to have had that radiance of spirit that told others Whose presence she lived in! Thank you for sharing it with us.

This is a precious post, Jarod. I love the pictures! Thanks for sharing. You got me thinking about my own great-grandmother who I was very close to. People say I’m a lot like her, but I think that a compliment too high for me. She was very dear as was your grandmother. Thanks for encocuraging me to remember…

Wow...how blessed you are to have such a heritage and special memories. Grandmothers are indeed a gift from the Lord. I did not know my Grandmother until much later in her life. She passed away..um.....I think it has been almost four or five years ago. The last few years of her life were hard, she was sick with many things. But, God allowed me to spend time with her in the hospital and doing her hair. It was a very special time - I was honored when asked to share at her memorial service. Don't ever take your memories and special treasures for granted!
