]]> https://jarodhinton.com/last-weeks-sermon/#comment-933 Wed, 20 Sep 2006 03:19:00 +0000 https://preacherdad.com/last-weeks-sermon/#comment-933 Great sermon notes!  What an awesome story…I think, if I were given the odds of 450 to 1 I might just turn and leave.  Yet….here Gideon goes to God with his fears.  He lets God know he is willing but needs a little reassurance.  What a loving Father we have….if we ask for that reassurance in a respectful, humble way He doesn’t mind letting us see a glimpse of what He is going to do.  When He sees that our hearts have come to a place of surrender He knows something great can be done and gives us a peek at what is to come.  Sometimes we need that vision to spur us on!  May this be a lesson to us all.  As we come to a place where God asks much of us, maybe much more than we think we have to offer or are capable of, may we learn this lesson of Gideon.  That with God…ALL things are possible!
