That's true, daughter. His principles are right on. But I was referring to certain statements that he made, which were more incidental than they were important. I'm not sure I could even tell you what those statements were, but when I heard them I remember thinking they were not quite accurate, or at least were not firmly founded on Scripture. Kind of like "That statement might be wise and good, but I don't think the Bible teaches that specifically." That's what I meant in saying he was "wrong."

I don't know that I'd go so far as to say that Mr. G is wrong. The principles he presents are founded on the word of God, flat out. Problems arise when people take his application as law instead of searching out the conviction God has for their own lives. The principle is truth, but the application of it will look different in every life, every family. It's the realization of a personal God.

I, too, enjoy reading your sermons. Please continue to post them.

I thoroughly enjoy reading your sermons every week. I’m more visual than auditory; so, I often get more by reading. Thanks for posting them every week.

I have never read a transcript of a dialogue between a person and their soul before. It is almost rather freaky.

I know what you mean about the Basic Seminar (Almost shortened it to B.S. but uh...that would defeat the purposes of this statement...) when it's good, it's good. And there is good to it. Lots of good. There is so much good in it that you can find the same principles/teachings in a lot of other Christian material too. Mr. G just has a very clear and lucid way of presenting the basics. And when you focus on the basics, and focus on the good, then it's very good. Some people still react to the Basic Seminar, yeah. But hey, at least we know that God's truth is still God's truth, no matter where it comes from and while some people may be closed to the Basic Seminar, the same people might open up to something else that has the same Truth. :) So it's ok. We can all be happy in love and truth.
