Now, Anna, don't forget that, although "his sweet mom" was the primary bearer of this gift from the Lord we know as Jarod, Dad's usually help a little, too. (Don't we, Jarod?!)

Of course, our greatest praise goes to our Lord. Most people that Jarod knows today do not realize that he very nearly died a few days after birth. At about the darkest point, at the encouragement of our dear pastor, we litterally released Jarod, in prayer, back to God, and prepared in our hearts to lose him. God graciously and miraculously restored him, however, and we took him home about a week later. Interesting that part of his name (middle: "Thomas") means "double blessing" since God gave him to us once, we then released him back to God, and God gave him back to us again - making his coming to us a "double blessing" indeed back on that very important time in February, 1980. God bless you all (all three of you) as you move through this/his life together.

What a great highjacking! You did a good job, Anna-my dear new daughter. I know you had a good birthday (at least you said so when we talked to you) I even saw this post before most everyone else-I know, I'm one of those ones that "hits-and-runs". But as I looked agian I just wanted the whole world to know that I was so very wonderfully blessed 28 years ago and it hasn't ended yet!
