This ain’t easy! Not just writing blog posts, and hopefully maintaining and increasing readership through outstanding (yeah right) content. In attempting to write a book it requires a great deal of personal discipline and creativity. This takes time and effort.
Time is a precious commodity around our house. Using it to stare blankly at a computer screen trying to think of the next plot turn….not always appealing.
But that is what makes a book an accomplishment. If it’s not a challenge then it’s not really worth doing, right? The Scripture which says “In whatsoever you do, do it with all thy might” comes to mind. So trudge ahead faithful writer. Remember that creating something of value takes a significant investment of time, energy, wit, resources, and talent. (Among other things, I expect.)
And now, it’s off to work so I can earn the money to pay for my hobbies. If only I could make my hobbies into my work….. 😀
